A decision

I quit the varsity basketball team today. I didn't have a hard time thinking it over but i did have a hard time trying not to cry while i was telling our coach that i was quitting, especially when he said he understood me and that he knows i'm not bitter. My reason? Well, because a) they didn't put me in the line-up for the WBL. I mean if i don't get to play, why train? Don't get me wrong. I'm not bitter at all. It's just that even though i said that it was okay with me if i didn't get to join WBL, the truth is i really did kind of want to join, b) i am getting so exhausted. I have training in Chorale(M,W,F,S) and in baskteball(T,Th,F). I don't get enough sleep and so that leaves me really bangag in school which makes my performance below my standards. I just had to do it. Even before i decided to try-out for the team, i knew that sooner or later, i would have to choose between Chorale and basketball. I chose Chorale and even then i still hoped. I wanted to experience to be a part of a real basketball team. Well, i guess there's no use in thinking about it too much since i know that there's nothing else i can do about it so now, i'm just gonna focus all my energy in mastering the contest pieces for Chorale. The contest is next week already. This is my first time to join them. I'm not that nervous yet but i think i will be...in a matter of days :)

Yesterday, we had alumnae of our school tell us current seniors a little something about college life. Grabe. Nung una, wala akong balak mag-La Salle. Like hello?! La Salle is too far and the tuition is too expensive but after hearing Ate Paoski who is currently studying in La Salle state some of her hilarious experiences, i sort of wanted to get a La Salle application form and start filling it out already. Haha. I sooo liked something she said which goes like this, "Kung sa La Salle ka mag-aaral humanda kang magkasala." HAHAHAHAHA. She was talking about boys that time :D

Idara man sana kan ma bublay, idara idara man..------NOSEBLEED :(( Yesterday, during training my head started hurting. Pano ba naman kasi?! Super tataas ng notang kinakanta namin kahapon!!!! Malamang mataas kasi Soprano 1 ako pero hello?! Pamatay talaga! WOW! Napatagalog nako! Hehe. Pero sa totoo lang. Feeling ko di ko na kaya mag-Soprano 1. I feel like nawala na yung dating quality ng voice ko dahil sa kasisigaw, sa dami ng baso ng malamig na tubig na tinungga ko at sa dami ng tsokolateng nalamon ko. So yun. Minsan nga eh pag kumakanta ko ng super taas na nota ay bigalang magssplit yung boses ko! O kaya niyo yun?! :)) Hahaha. SWEAR. Weird nga eh. Pero totoo :D Haha. Ay ay ay. Tapos pala since siyempre hindi namin maabot ni Kaye yung notes eh medyo nabadtrip si Ate Krina samin so malamang nadisappoint den ako sa sarili ko. Yun :)

You might think my day's done na, but no. Not yet. I still have one more thing to share :D
I had choir practice yesterday at Ate Krina's house. So yun. Malamang we practiced :)) After we practiced, Ate Regina announced our utangs. I was surprised to hear na my previous utang of 80 ballooned to....tentenenten!! 190!! My golly wow!!!!! Ang dami na ngang bayarin naging almost 200 pa ang utang ko?! My gosh! O so anyway, after the utangs were announced, we stayed for a while at kunwetuhan. So yun. Kuwento, kuwento :) Tapos! Bigla nalang may.... chenen! IPIS! OH MY GOLLY!! But i said na as long as hindi yan lilipad quiet lang ako :D So yun. Kuwentuhan resumed. Tapos! Si Ate Krina biglang napaturo sa ipis at sinabing nagpaikot-ikot daw ito! So lahat kami tumayo at nagkumpulan sa isang corner ng room. ABA! Na-sense ata ng ipis na natatakot kami dahil bigla ba namang naglakad(?) and ipis sa wall papunta sa malapit sa kinaroroonan namin. At siyempre, tumakbo namin kami sa kabilang side ng room!! HELLOO?! Hahaha. So yun. Nakatayo kami sa may table na nasa opposite side kung saan naroroon ang mahiwagang ipis. Nahulog yung ipis sa likod ng piano, at sa ilang segundo ay medyo nakapag-relax kami. BUT WAIT!! THERE'S MORE!!! Biglang nag-reappear and ipis at ngayon ay sa floor na siya naglalakad!! So lahat kami ay nagsisigaw at tinangkang tumuntong sa kung ano mang matutungtungan! Pero sa gitna ng mga pangyayaring ito ay lumitaw ang isang bayani :) Si RON! :D Inapakan niya ang ipis. THANK YOU RON! :D:D Hehehehehe. So yun. Pagktapos ay bumalik ulit kami sa pugkukuwentuhan at makalipas ang mga 20-30 minutos ay umuwi na kami :) Masyado na daw late :D 1130 na ata nun :))

Okay so right now, I am currently online and just chatting with April. I have no plans of studying for Pinoi, Health or Music tonight. Hahahaha. I'm too lazy to study. "Bagsak na kung bagsak! Bahala na si BATMAN!" Hahahaha. That is my motto these days. Eh kasi naman noh! It's already the fourth quarter! Summer is so near I can SMELL IT! I really want to get this final week over with.

Even though it's my summer. My summer is pretty much booked. EK here, DASC there, babysit here, sing there. Oh and let's not forget that I still have to review for college. My sched is early May, whole day. I chose that sched so that it will be finished in 12 days. Hahahaha.

So anyway, tinatamad nako magdagdag pa rito :) Hahahaha.

ok so first of all what's with barangay lsfm? i mean. what happened to good old campus radio wlsfm?? i soo hate it. argh. i used to really like the songs being played there like, irreplaceable, sexy back, and a lot more cool songs but now... shucks. mga kanta na ni lovi poe ang aking naririnig.. waaah!!! kainis! i wish they bring back the old campus radio. this new sucks BIG TIME! ggrrr.

it's been a long time since i posted something here. guess i was busy. :)) hehe.

this week and the past week has been really, really tiring. why? well because our past week, the third year level had so many activites and on top of all that we still had to practice until 5:30pm for our musicale. grabe! this week is pretty much the same but lesser activities. hmmm.. i'm so excited! this thursday is the much awaited english day for the third year level. i'm also very nervous since my part is the lead female role. our play is "the sound of music" and i'm maria. shucks. i only hope i won't be making a really big fool out of myself on thursday.

how do you solve a problem like MARIA?? :))

hayy.. homeworks, projects, homeworks, projects homeworks, projects... these are the things that are constantly on my mind these days. wow ah! happy christmas break talaga! haha:)) though i'm pestered by these annoying thoughts i can say that my christmas break was one of my happiest and how can it not be? eh i have the filhai youth choir to spend it with and siyempre, ang aking past time, ang walang kamatayang pagtetext. :) haha. so.. right now, i know i should be doing at least one of my projects but i'm not in the mood and i don't get that far when i'm not in the mood so why should i bother? haha:)) basta later nalang. hahahaha..

ay ay! kahapon pala naganap ang christmas party ng fyc sa tahanan ni kenneth lee. masaya naman. haha :) grabe! i came home super late. like 1 am in the morning. pano ba naman kasi? nagcranium at nagkantahan pa kami! :)) siyempre! kumanta ko! haha! at ang kinanta ko ay i will survive! haha. nakuha kong score 94! woohoo! :)) haha. saya!:) hmm.. ano pa bang nangyari within 24 hours? aaaaahhh!! nagbadminton kami ng idol kong si ate krina!:) haha! actually, dapat hindi ako papayagan kasi daw puyat ako tapos ang aga ko nagising tapos magpapagod ako. sabi pa nga ng mama ko isusumbong niya kay papa eh. eh ayun, nung umakyat ang tagal bumama tapos nagtext si idol ng "let's go!" so ayun. let's go na nga talaga. haha!:))

December 30 ko na toh natapos kasi nung una nakadraft. in case you're wondering lang.. haha :))

christmas day and my idol's birthday!

i woke up at around 10am and immediately decided to hear mass. since the mass started at 10am i didn't have time to take a bath and so i just threw on a pair of jeans and a shirt and took off. after hearing mass, i went home of course. my tita and her family went to the house to eat lunch. after lunch, we opened up our presents since we were not home the night before. my eldest sister gave us monopoly, the philippine edition. while we played the game we were also watching lady in the water. the movie was okay i guess. haha. we finished the game at around 4pm coz they had to hear mass, i won by the way. haha. so anyway, after my family heard mass they went to novaliches coz it was the birthday of my tito. my bro, jazz, and i didn't go with them coz we had other plans. we went to my idol, ate krina's birthday. when we got there, we ate first then we played basketball. it was fun. haha. after playing, we sat down at the table and chatted with the others. i learned a very shocking thing by the way. so anyway, we decided to go home at about 11 something. haha. i gave my idol a bracelet with a cross pala. haha. ayun. ang saya ng christmas!

a night that i shall certainly remember!! :D

ok, so this night that is certainly a night to remember started when ate krina broadcast to the whole fyc choir that toma, her brother, is my prom date. she said, "uy guys, prom date ni patty si toma!". just imagine my shock when i heard her say those words. grabe! mahal na mahal kita ate krina! hahaha. hindi pa siya nakuntento dun. sabi pa niya "don't worry patty, di ka papabayaan ni toma." shucks! haha. kakahiya talaga! haha. pero alam ko excited lang si ate krina para sa kanyang bro. haha. shucks talaga. haha. but wait! there's still more! haha. while we were practicing our father, THE ONE AND ONLY RYAN CAYABYAB, went in and said that maybe we should change some parts and right away he sat in front of the piano and started "piano-ing" away. haha. we were all so pumped up! ang galing niya super! he gave out so much energy. he was also very funny. shucks. I SAW RYAN CAYABYAB AT WORK! hay.. haha.. ayun.. haha.. ang saya lang. haha. BEST CHOIR PRACTICE EVER!! WOOHOO! haha.

third year feastday and mini bandaid

today was superrrrrrrrrrr fun! in the morning we had the mass then the feastday celebration followed. we had a talk entitled "destined for beauty and grace". all i got from the talk is that i should always trust and obey only god's will. haha. so anyway, after that, we went to the gym for the amazing race, lunch and class presentations. kalayaan won the amazing race. wala lang. haha. we ate lunch after the amazing race and boy was i hungry! i came back for a second serving! haha. the class presentations followed after. katarungan came first with their songs mariang ina ko and joyful, joyful lord. kamalayan came next with shout for joy and hail holy queen. we had the same marian song by the way. moving on.. after kamalayan came kalayaan with everyday and first believed. and last but certainly not the least, came us! kagitingan! we sang hail holy queen and you are good. we were sooooo good if i do say so myself. haha. joke. but we did do well. kalayaan won again pala. :D

at first i wasn't really planning to watch the mini bandaid but after a few persuasions i finally gave in and decided to watch and i'm glad that i did. it was so fun! all four bands were really great. they really did come from holy. haha. i just have to say that ms platon looked so good on stage playing the guitar! shucks! grabe! haha. the show was fun all through out but for me i really started enjoying it when ate krina and her band played. shucks! i sooooo lurve ate krina! she sings soooo well. haha. i lurve her song boogie feel for you. argh! i think i'm gonna choose chorale next year. haha. i couldn't stop singing afterwards. haha. 93 kilometers won by the way. go ate sharie! woohoo!!

i came to school all hyper. i kept on jumping up and down, but deep inside, i had a problem that's eating me up. the night before, i cried coz i know that i had to accept a truth that is well, kind of hard to accept. i know some people i know can totally relate coz it's kind of been happening in school, right hannah? it's just so sad. at first i thought that we were different. that we would stay close no matter what. i don't know, i mean i guess we still are close, but i can't help but think that... oh nevermind. i'll just keep the rest to myself and to some friends.

so, today was fun, even though the tips of my fingers(tama ba? haha) hurt like hell coz the guitar i'm using doesn't use nylon strings but steel. so, what about? haha. i also won the first set of the patty-nicole badminton battle. haha! funny funny. we didn't finish coz we didn't have a new shuttle. haha. anyway, the patty-nicole badminton battle will continue on monday so standby. haha. kakainis tong post na toh. haha

hay.. i'm sad to say that until now, i am still undecided. about what? well, about choosing between pep and chorale. i've been trying to decide for about 9 months now. i auditioned for both clubs last year and i passed both first screenings. i didn't know what to join but instead of kind of facing the problem i ran away from it. i chose I.D. Film as my club this year. it's been fun yeah but i can't help but think what would have been if i had chosen pep or chorale. i used to bother a lot of people just to ask them which of the two clubs should i choose. they favored pep more coz i guess it's more popular? i'm not sure but they really did kind of favor pep over chorale. so anyway, this school year is slowly coming to a close and next year i would have to choose already. of course i would have to audition again but WHAT IF i pass both clubs again? i'm not saying that i'm good at dancing. hah! i found out only last year that i can dance a little. haha. but i do sing. hay.. it's just so difficult to choose between the two. i wish that i just won't pass one so that i wouldn't have to decide for myself. rawr. ahetet!(try to figure out what this means!)

argh! i really hate it when we have intrams practice! it's so boring. all i did a while ago was watch basketball and walk around. it was so boring. rawr! so anyway, i am rejoicing right now! why? of course because there are no classes tomorrow! it's going to be a four-day weekend! although it is sad that it's going to be a strong typhoon again and it's going to bring a lot of damage again. i'm praying that it won't bring as much damage as the previous typhoons.

i am regretting that i joined the singing group instead of the video group. argh! i want to dance you are good! shucks! i wish i could join them as an extra! haha. i got LSSed by our song by the way. i love it! it makes me wanna dance! haha

i am now making a new blog yet again. i always seem to forget my password or my username. haha. i'm sooooo forgetful. i actually am afraid that someday, when i get old, i'm going to die with no memory. i don't want that to happen. duh! who does? so anyway, i just hope that i will be able to keep this blog at least for quite a long time. haha.

hmmm.. so what can i say about today? pretty normal. we had intrams practice. i had a practice game with nicole. oh btw, my sport is badminton, yet again. don't get me wrong. i love playing badminton especially when i'm up against a pretty good player but when the school year started i really wanted to join basketball but of course i can't. why? well, because 3 of my classmates are beloi, kor and april. who can compete with them? hah! certainly not me! so i just chose badminton. haha. so back to my day. we had a quiz in ap. it was fairly easy although i didn't really study(since when do i study?). hmmm.. what else? that's just about it. :)
